Today Let’s talk about the IGU’s aluminum spacer(not included the warm spacer IGU).

There two different aluminum spacers for insulating glass.

One is High frequency bendable aluminum strip, also called bendable aluminum spacer, its features has below:

1. Anti-rust, anti-corrosion, high brightness

2. The surface of the aluminum strip has uniform hole penetration, good straightness, no deformation, and stable size.

3. High strength and good toughness, can be bent any angle by bending machine. 

4. Ensure the activity of molecular sieve and ensure excellent adhesion with various sealant

     Another is normal aluminum strip, also called unbent aluminum spacer. It’s connected by corner connector for square or rectangle only, can’t bend more angles.

     Aluminum strip size usually as 4mm, 5mm, 5.5mm, 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm, 8mm, 8.5mm, 9mm, 10mm, 11mm, 11.5mm, 12mm, 14mm, 14.5mm, 15mm, 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 25mm, 27mm. thickness is about 0.25-0.4mm.
